Women’s Development Program

The Program fosters agency among women and men to participate on equal terms to realise their economic, political, cultural, and social rights.

Established in 1992, the WDP works with men and women from across Palestine towards promoting women’s participation and contribution on equal terms to realize their economic, political, cultural and social rights. To achieve this the program pursues three main objectives: Women are agents of change, Women have access to resources, and Laws support women’s rights and participation. 

Our Services: 

The WDP delivers a number of interventions based on community needs including: 

- Provision of cash grants. 

- Provide trainings programs on planning, advocacy and group dynamics. 

- Community awareness raising. 

- Facilitation of market access. 

- Agricultural training of women. 

- (Re)Construction of cisterns. 

- Support to land reclamation.   

- Facilitation of networking and developing synergies and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and duty bearers.   

- Design and participate in joint advocacy campaigns with other women’s organizations.
